AFV, good question about the rooster games name. The reason is, the winning book (the one the students across Rhode Island choose as their favorite) gets an award sticker with our state bird, the Rhode Island Red- and it's a rooster, so that's how "The Rooster Games" got it's name. You can see the sticker if you click on the link to the list of ROOSTER BOOKS, under the poll, on the bottom left side of the blog. Happy Reading! Mrs. C.
